Alexandre Gefen

Directeur de recherche de première classe (CNRS / THALIM)

Alexandre Gefen is a first-class Research Director at the CNRS, affiliated with the THALIM unit (Theory and History of Modern Arts and Literatures, UMR CNRS / Sorbonne Nouvelle). Deputy Scientific Director of CNRS Social and Human Sciences (InSHS), he oversees the "Digital Humanities" and "Artificial Intelligence" priorities. Founder of Fabula.org, he is a pioneer of digital humanities in France and principal investigator of the ANR project CulturIA, devoted to a cultural history of AI.
