Serigne Sylla

Serigne Sylla is a sociologist-anthropologist and lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Gaston Berger University, Saint-Louis, Senegal. A member of the GERM laboratory, he specialises in the sociology of media and communication, the sociology of organisations, and the socio-anthropology of religion. His doctoral thesis examined the relationship between media and religious power in the context of Senegalese confessional digital media.
